Commander/Organizer Overview

Commander/Organizers (C/O) are Extroverted, Thinking, Sensing types. They function primarily in thinking mode, with the sensing secondary position inclining their thinking toward objects and facts. Extroverted thinking types are very logical and pragmatic in the way they see the world. The actions of people with extroverted thinking are almost entirely dependent upon intellectual conclusions. Although they may feel as deeply as the feeling types, they base their decisions and actions on intellect and logic, rather than on their emotional responses. With sensing in the secondary position, C/Os are critical thinkers who see both the big picture and the details that create it. The extroverted attitude inclines behaviors toward active, as opposed to passive, and energy is gained from activity and/or interacting with others. C/Os are most effective and most content in the midst of serious (businesslike) activities and prefer orderly, efficient environments where they can self-manage.
